This is very old news by this point, but I'd like to remind everyone that Nintendo is currently providing a special offer that allows you to get an additional game for free if you purchase Mario Kart 8. The offer in question only lasts between May 30, 2014 and July 31, 2014, so you must buy the game within that time frame to benefit. It should also be noted that a Club Nintendo account is required to take advantage of this offer, as you will need to register your copy of Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo's website within the specified time frame. Upon registering your copy, Nintendo will give you a download code to buy one of four games for free! The free games being provided are as follows:
New Super Mario Bros. U
Pikmin 3
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
Wii Party U
All of these are full retail games for the Wii U, by the way. Keep in mind that your additional free game won't be a physical copy, though. While these games are also available in physical form, the free offer only works for the digital releases. Honestly, this is a good deal, especially since Nintendo games take forever to go down in price, and all those games are fairly recent releases. Nintendo must be getting desperate if they're using free games to sell a game like Mario Kart, which is already bound to sell plenty of copies on its own. Take advantage of Nintendo's desperation today by making use of this limited time offer!
